![]() ![]() My hope: I can reasonably use a 6-digit-or-more PIN (realizing it's less secure, for sure, than a biometric input) for frequent unlocking/auto-password-filling iOS, Bitwarden, Signal, Fastmail, Protonmail and similar apps that have any access to "more secure" data. How feasible is this when using Bitwarden? BUT, I don't want to "give" Apple my face (call me crazy, it's just my personal preference), so I am investigating the feasibility of using an iPhone13 with FaceID effectively disabled. But that's quite "old school." I am considering upgrading to a more-modern iPhone, preferably the iPhone 13 (or whatever the current, latest, largest-screen hardware version is), which would remove the TouchID/Home_button and (if I understand correctly) only offer FaceID for biometric security. I'm a long-time iPhone 8 user, which has my beloved TouchID/Home_button.
